    1988 Kawasaki Mule 1000

Recently bought a 1988 Kawasaki Mule that is not running. Has the original fuel tank which is plum full of rust. I have been looking online for a plastic or even an original replacement and cannot find one for this model. Called a few local plastic fabrication business to have one made and am not having luck. The thought has crossed my mind to buy a plastic fuel tank and fabricate it to fit/work for my mule. If anyone has done this or anyone has any advice it would be appreciated.

Plastic can be hard to modify especially when gasoline is concerned. Consider going aluminum, yes more costly but safer where gasoline is concerned and easier to modify
