So, What does everyone use to clean their machines? What about plastic / Lexan windshields?

I use a good car wash soap with out any wax for thicker mud/ dirt. I use plexus on the smooth plastic like the hood and Lexan. 303 protectant on everything else. I also use the 303 on my boat seats, truck interior, etc.

I may be babying my plastic windshield too much, but I spray it down with the pressure washer and dry it with a leaf blower. I also use Rain-X on the windshield which helps with the leaf blower drying.

Curious here....my bottle of rainex states "not for use on plastic windshields" do you have a different type of rainex or have you not had any issues with it?

I had the same questions on another forum and found people saying they use regular rain-x with no problems. However, I found this. Amazon.com: Rain-X 620036 Plastic Treatment - 12 fl. oz.: Automotive

I also use a pump sprayer to clean my windshield while on the trails. It's a mixture of water and rain-x washer solvent. Those combined work pretty well.

It works on mud and dust. I heard about this from someone on the trails and I'm thinking about getting it for the added bonus of cleaning the radiator. It's not much of a pressure washer but it would work to clean the radiator and windshield. I tried finding a different brand of battery pressure washer, but this was it.

Yep, it works great. My machine looks dirtier while out riding, but it washes right off. And when you put it on, you don't have to wipe it off and your plastics look like new. The only negative is the price. I think it's about $11 a can and I get two cleanings out of one can.

I'm waiting for the new style 2019 Polaris Ranger Crew model to be introduced.

Does SC1 help with the thick dust here in Arizona?

I'm sure it would. It lays down a coating and the dust sits on top of it. It's going to look worse but will rinse off easily.

Amsoil has a new product out called Mudslinger. I may get a can with my next order and give it a shot.

Let us know how that works out. There are lots of product that do the same thing and SC1 is expensive.

If I were to guess, it is some variant of SC1 or very similar. I am more wondering how far it goes per can. When I use Plexus on my plastics a can of that lasts me multiple seasons. It is $25 a can, but for how long it lasts, it is great. I have never used SC1 or similar, so I don't know how it performs in terms of washing dirt and mud off in comparison. I'm not sure if SC1 has it, but I like that it has a UV inhibitor in it. That is the primary reason I use 303 Protectant. I already put in my fall time/ boat Ams order, so I will probably pick some of this stuff up with my spring order and will report back.

It just does its thing... nothing spectacular. The machine looks awesome after you apply it and you don't have to wipe it off. That's the best part.

You can also use simple green from Walmart, a little cheaper way but it works.
I also use SC1 after every 3-4 simple green washes because it's expensive.
