Crankcase oil seal 700 range

    Ranger 700 6x6 2006

    Can the seal be replaced by backing out the lower case bolts? How about an external seal of the same sixe, without the lip

    You may need to provide a little extra information on this one. @DieselFume is the 700/800 expert as is @Jungleman. @Pede has run one of these too if I recall correct.

    2013 XP 800 Ranger, Three 2017 Polaris 570 Full Sizes. All subjected to hard ranch work, long hours and rough conditions. 5 years or bust!

    I have never had one of those crankshaft seals out personally, but I imagine if you drilled into the side of the seal with self tapping screws and then used a heel bar to pull the seal out would probably be the best way. Or at least the way I would attempt it if it was me
