They used to be Backwoods Armor, but changed owners.

It's started back woods then they were bought out and changed to DSA well shortly after the change they were bought out again. 3rd times the charm? The 3rd owners now seem to be with the program. Very easy and nice to deal with and can answer the questions you have. Some info on prc about them and a couple guys running their arms over there too. I have heard they are pretty good quality but the powder coating isn't the greatest

I was thinking something might be up with their powder coating their disclaimer is all over their web site.I don't understand this.
*Does NOT include obvious intentional damages to powder coating. We WILL NOT warranty powder coat if damage seems intentional.
**"Wear" on powder coating is normal, with frequent use, and therefore will not be covered.

Yeah I saw that too. From the pics I've seen it just looks like a lower quality cheaper powder coat job. I wouldn't be surprised if it started to flake or chip off over time

If I were in the market, I would just order them bare and have my local guy do the powder coat if they are having those sorts of issues.

That's a great price. To do the 6 arms on my midsize I got quoted around $150. But I think buying them bare metal would be your best bet. They may even knock some money off for not having them powder coated.

We are running them on the front of our shop ranger and they are pretty good overall quality. As good as any of the others we have installed. The reason we chose the DS arms over others were for the 1.75" forward offset vs 1.5" most others use. 1/4" doesn't sound like much but when running portals it helps to have the most forward arms you can get to keep from rubbing at lock due to added width.

Posting from my phone at the moment so I'll see if I can upload pictures. We have been working with them on several updates to these arms as well as several midsize arms. So if your needing anything let us know.

Guess it worked so I'll get a head on shot when I get back to shop. This is 2011 Ranger 800 stock height suspension, 4" SuperAtv portals, DS forward arched arms on 33" (9.5-16 BKT 171)

I got a set of Backwoods arched a arms all the way around on my 2015 6x6 (only way to get 30's on). I like 'em, the shock mounts were off a little when I got them and I had to get that fixed...

I bought mine apparently right before they got ready to sell, I've heard rumors about a family illness that may have caused the original owner to sell Backwoods, not sure if he was thinking of selling before or if the illness caused him to sell to cover costs.

I'd be curious to know if Deep Woods uses the same design for their A arms, If they do I'd buy the stick guards for mine. The outer CV boots aren't protected at all right now.

I've talked to the new owners and they seem like really great folks. They have the original jigs that John developed and probably can help you out. Give them a call, 229 776-0660.

I talked to them beginning of the week and never got the chance to post. Yes they have original jigs and things for manufacturing. I think I'm going to replace my front arms when I get a chance, they have forward front A-arms that have a built in lift. Right now I have front shocks on the outer shock mount and spring tension at maximum to clear the 30's (and it still looks low in the front, all four rears are inside mount lowest spring tension) it would be nice to back off the front to get a softer ride. I'll order complete set of stick gaurds to put on this next winter.

I have talked to them, several times, seem like really great people.

Give Amanda a call, she will set you up with a lift or new A arms.

A bit late to this conversation but has anyone put their shock relocation box on a midsize?
