Ok, I’m heavy into planning out my mods for the Side X Side Nation General. I’ve picled up a set of Fox Podium QS3 shocks, and I am wrestling between the Super ATV high clearance A arms and the Super ATV Atlas Pro A Arms. The problem is I was planning on the PRO Armor 32” Crawlers but the Atlas arms only allow for 31” tires, but the high clearance allow for 32”. I either go with a smaller Tire or a lesser A arm....
Anyway, I am wrestling over whether to get the Vendetta Viper bumper or their Outback bumper.
Give me your opinions. The bumper and rock guards will be white.
I’m also wrestling with whether to get the Vendetta rock guards or the Side by Side Customs Rock guards.
I have already ordered Side X Side Customs vented windshield with wiper.

Bumpers....They are both sweet, but I lean slightly towards the outback. Its a little more compact which I think looks sharp on the front of that General.

A-Arms....After looking at pics of both, I say sacrifice the 1" of tire and go with those HD boxed arms. Those things look bullet proof.

Rock Bars: I think they are both sweet. BUT...If I went with the boxed super ATV arms, I would go with the boxed SXS customs bars. Same thing if you go with the high clearance round a--arms, I would go with the round bars. I think that both look great and will be highly functional, but carrying the same shape back from the a-arms will go a long way in the overall look of the machine.

Viper bumper will give you a lot more protection.

I like the round bars on the vendetta. They will match the bumper.

My concern with the supper atv boxed a arms is what are you going to break because those a arms are not going to move if you hit something.

And you guys are highlighting my struggles. I agree with both of you!
As far as A arms being stronger than the mounting points, that’s pretty much an issue with all aftermarket A arms. The high clearance arms are 25% bigger than stock.

Here's my turn at adding to your dilemma. Like Dave said, Vendetta Viper bumper & sliders, more protection and they match each other. The high clearance a-arms gets you to your choice of tires and do you really need that much more protection? Where did you plan on running it to need them? I too wrestled with going either the Atlas or Special Carriers Mfg route because of riding Windrock as my primary spot, but due to cost vs other wanted add-ons I went with HL for now. If I end up doing something to affect them in the future, I upgrade then. Good luck with your choices.

It’s going to see a lot of different terrains. Lots of Michigan trails, Hatfield McCoy, I wouldn’t doubt it will even see Windrock. I bent the factory a arms on my RZR here in Michigan and went with Racer Tech boxed A arms which are pretty much impossible to damage.

I Like the Viper bumper myself,

Not sure on the A arms- Are both an eyelet setup at the bushing area? or does one utilize a factory style bushing? I guess I'm too much service minded guy, this machine is definitely going to be built more for pleasure than work ;)

I'm going with vendetta on bumper and side bars and super atv control arms! simply because a round tube will tend to slide off or over a rock better then a square one. less contact area! besides I bet less wieght so less to get moving. comes down to do you want what looks or works better!

I went with the Atlas Pro super ATV arms because of their adjustability, and strength, as well as the fact that I don’t have to worry about ball joints anymore. Thanks to Justin at Anything UTV for a great deal on A arms!
Now I just have to decide which Vendetta bumper and whose rock guards.

I think both utilize factory bushings, but they are adjustable

Looks like I finally got some shipping info from UPS on my HL front a-arms. Should be here Friday.
