After many months of research I finally made up my mind to which UTV to purchase. It was up to the Ranger/General and Intimidator. Now Intimidator comes out with the Enforcer (800 CC, stock portals, 32" tires and 16" of clearance). They have 1 year bumper to bumper and 3 year power train. Gotta love that. Since I am no speed demon, 55-60 mph is just fine with me.
PoPo has let me down with there customer relations/warranty/ and quality control issues.

Summer of '17 an Enforcer is going to be mine.

I had no idea they made anything like that. It's good looking that's for sure. The portals and 32s alone make that a sweet rig. Report back with it when you get one!

Those Intimidators are very interesting. We don't have a dealer close to me that had any in stock when I was looking. The are a nice looking rig. I am curious to see how it works out.

2013 XP 800 Ranger, Three 2017 Polaris 570 Full Sizes. All subjected to hard ranch work, long hours and rough conditions. 5 years or bust!

I'd be very interested in one, but there's not a dealer close to me..... that's a big problem!

Mahindra mPact XTV 1000 Diesel Crew

I purchased a 2017 Mahindra mPact XTV 1000C diesel this past July. I was specifically looking for a workhorse. I'm not a muddier, I don't fly down the trails and needed it to be able to haul some weight. It's big (over 12ft long), comfortable (truly seats 6), has lots of torque and comes nicely equipped. There are accessories out there for it, but mostly limited to availability through dealers. My version of the Mahindra 1000 is a crew cab with a dump box. You're not going to win any races with the diesel engine, but you will be able to pull just about any of your buddies out of the mud (recreational vehicle or truck) should they get stuck.

For me it came down to a Can-AM SxS Crew or Mahindra Crew. In the end the Can-AM is a nice machine with lots of bells and whistles, but also comes at a price. For what I was going to use the SxS for Mahindra was the machine I needed.

My only complaints are not with the machine itself. It's with the dealers that are supposed to be there to support them. I am figuratively lucky and have access to several Mahindra dealers relatively close to me. However, none can seem to answer basic questions about the machine. For example what is the part number for the oil filter? What is the part number for the air filter? etc, etc,! They don't keep parts or accessories in stock so they don't know the answers or how to look them up. To complicate matters, Mahindra supply chain is slow to get it to them when they do order so your machine will sit at the dealer for a week just for an oil change! Because of this I have educated myself on much as I can on the Mahindra and Intimidator just so I can maintain it myself. Because there are not many owners out there, it's pretty tough to get most questions answered!

With all that being said, I probably would not want to pay the dealer prices for maintenance if it were a Can-AM or Polaris either, but at least there are enough owners out there that can answer your questions when you have them!

Do you have any idea where to source brake pads?
