Here in central Florida when the wind is not coming from the east, twice a year, that's what you get, clouds of love bugs.
    1. In less than 30 MPH they won't splat.
    2. If you don't get them off your car after two weeks, they'll actually strip your paint off.
    3. They are attracted to the color white.
    4. Redneck solution is to spray the front with pam cooking oil or SC-1 before a big trip for better cleaning or, Option b, power washing after every day or, Option c, weekly carwash.
    5. For some reason they are attracted to baby oil with water in a white container to get them away from the house.

Man, that is nasty! We get May Flies up here in the spring. They are bad out by Lake St Clair, but I have not seen a car look like that.

Pic don't do justice, more than 1/2" think pyled up on top of each other, on the front plate, it was like rain this late morning, someone has to power wash the machine as well (thank god I don't tow with the front shield on), and that's why you have kids/friends/minions

Oh, how I don't miss that part of living in Central Florida. Hopefully they'll be all gone by mid-June when we head down to visit family.

What do you do with lemmons?
    You make lemonade!
When you purchase one of these 40 watts zappers, you can have 4th of July now.
They don't just pop, they blow up and catch fire lol[IMG]
