I'm looking for suggestions from our Canadian members. I'm looking at putting together a ride in Ontario next year 2021. I would like suggestions on what the best trail system is, best time of year and what would be a good place to call home for a week. We are game for any type of trail and would need something to keep us busy for a week. As far as a place to call home it would need to be a full hookup campground with cabins that we could ride directly out of onto a trail system. Thanks in advance and I can't wait to hear your recommendations.

I have also reached out to the Haliburton ATV Association and below is the information I have received back. Please let me know if there are an questions you would like me to ask. The dates I'm currently looking to plan the trip for are late July early August 2021.

    Hi Dave,

Thank you for your inquiry. Trail passes are required per machine. I would say that from mid-June to the end of September are great months for riding.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Regards,

    Joel

Looks like a beautiful place to ride. I was watching OstaCruiser the other day who was riding central Ontario and it was awesome terrain and scenery. It looks like they have done what north Michigan has done and made it really ATV/ UTV friendly, plus you cant beat the Canadian hospitality.

The Haliburton trails are fantastic as well as the KATV trail system that interconnects. The closet full service campground is Ray's Place on Hwy 121 that I can think of. I believe Ray's has some pretty neat trails of their own as well and Jeep/atv and sxs friendly

Another great area with awesome trails are in Mattawa On east of North Bay. Theres quite a few campgrounds nearby as well. The trail system especially the 666 trail is spectacular and they're atv/friendly in town
