Not a fan of black wheels. With the fenders and tires I needed something to break it all up.

Looks great and I am confident many will be curious how well they hold up. How many coats did you put on the wheels?

I put a light coat on first, letting it flash. Then followed by 3 more heavy coats.

I haven't heard of that product. I knew I could get Plasti Dip from Ace, as I am an ACE store owner. I just wanted to see how the blue wheels looked and wanted a way to easily undo it. I guess I will get them powder coated if my work doesn't hold up on the dirt roads, groomed trails and minor sand hills.

The showed the Rustoleum stuff on one of the Sunday TV car shows. It comes in gallons, aerosol spray and other sizes. On the show they sprayed a car with an airless sprayer which I thought would leave a terrible finish but it came out pretty nice. They didn't even mask off small items like side marker lights. They just waited until it dried, cut around them with a razor and peeled the paint away from the unwanted areas. It is interesting stuff, good fr a quick easy color change and you can peel it off when you want to.

This is the first time I've been exposed to either the plasti dip or Peel coat products, both are new to me so I have no idea which is better. The last plasti dip product I ever say was in a can and used to dip tools. I gotta get out more.

Wait 15 minutes and the weather will change!

Born and raised in North Florida, lived in Fort Liquordale 10 years then Orlando 10 years now back to North Florida, just North of Gatorville.

i'm thinking about plasti dipping the ranger but i don't know if it's going to hold when riding in palmetto
and ruff bush areas in river ranch.
the machine is 2 months old and already i have a lot of scratches on it.
if you can use a razor to cut and peel off, then this kind of rough terrain will shred it to peaces.

Peel Coat paint is starting to catch on. I've never tried it, but what the heck, why not! I'm getting rusty on my painting skills!
