Beginning to think I'm the only Prowler person on here! LOL AC sure missed the boat on true sport utility machines, but they have finally come to the party! Prowlers on the other hand are somewhat of the red headed stepchild! I like all brands, but decided on an Arctic Cat Prowler. I opted for a 700 (1000 was more than I wanted). I have over 7500 miles on mine, and the only failures I've has are self inflicted! I see more and more HDX's on the trails, and secondary roads lately! Come on people! Join the Prowler Nation!

I see a few prowlers over in my neck of the woods in central Minnesota. I own a rural liquor store in the lakes country so I talk to a lot of utv riders in the summer, heck I even drive mine to work. All the AC guys I've talked to seem to like there's and have very few problems.

I'm firmly committed to mine! Old age, and a happy wife sealed the deal! I'm an old time hot rodder, and the older Prowlers create challenges for after market parts so I build my own!

I just bought one about a month ago. Only thing I'm not satisfied with is the lack of ground clearence. [IMG]

Nice looking machine! Have you got hung up yet at all? My mid size Ranger does not clear all that much ground either and I have only been high centered once on a snow bank.

Yeah, where I ride is some mud along with some big rocks. Me and my buddy got these about the same time. he bought the wildcat sport and mine is the prowler. The pic don't look too deep but the deep part of the ruts was 2.5 ft deep

If you have 2 ft of ground clearance then you would wish you had 3 ft of ground clearance etc. I have 10 " and if I cant get thru with that then I don't go!! If the rocks are that big and the washout is that deep then I look for another place to ride. I prefer to enjoy the ride not have to work my way thru it....that is just me though.........

Nice looking Prowler! The HDX is popular machine. I love mine! I have between 10-11 inches of clearance, but we stay out of deep water, and mud!

The place I'm speaking of is about 5 minutes from the house. (Pump jack off road park) The next closest place is close to 2 hrs away.

Since the last post I've traded my factory wheels and tires to some 27"roctane xds tires and some beadlock wheels. I've also played with the fox shocks and now have the machine at 11.5"of clearence [IMG]
