We got a little break from the extreme cold here in SE Michigan today. It’s a balmy 45* out! Literally 50* warmer than earlier this week. I took the General to our lake front for a small photo shoot to see what it looks like out of my garage.

Light bar wired up. It is a 12” Mictuning 3 row, 12,000 lumen.
I also got their wire harness which came with a switch, relay and all connectors. It is very nice. Really nice considering the price. I did end up re working the harness a little because it was not wired so the light was only active with the key. I’m hindsight i should have just wired it up myself considering the mods I made to the harness. I think they assume the 12v you hook to will be keyed or something.

Here it is wired to the Polaris Pulse bar. The middle (white wire) is what I had to pull from the harness. It was tired to the constant hot and needed to be to keyed hot. I also cut the harness to a better length which worked fine considering I was using the pulse connector versus the supplied ring connectors. I will straighten the wiring up a bit once I have everything else set.

Light on. I will try and get some pics or even video on how all the led stuff looks after dark.

    Edit:

Here is the thread I posted with a short video on the LED lights.

That looks a lot easier to wire than my 17 was.

Thanks Jimmy. I don’t use a ton of Polaris accessories mostly due to price. When I do use them they always have great fit and finish. The sound bar was no exception.

Yes and no. It is nice they pulled the power up from the battery. The pulse system is nice for oem stuff for sure. It’s not bad, just has some ups and downs. I could have easily taken the cables they brought up and used them to power a fused panel and made it even easier. I will say, when I’m done, it should be a pretty clean wiring job.

I installed a great product from one of our vendors today. The Spring Brake Thingy was a must for me for a few reasons. It was by far the easiest install of any product I have done yet. Two bolts, less than one minute. Really nice, simple design and great quality.
I will get a video up on this soon.
