Hey folks, wanted to let you all know i found an inner air filter that'll fit inside the OEM air filter. It fits rather nice and is a little added security for those dustry trails. I prefer Uni-foam filters but when its drying out from being washed, i use my OEM filter. I prefer to leave filter dry for a day to be safe then i reinstall. WEll sometimes ya just gotta ride...and thats all there is to it! And other times, i forget re-install my foam filter for a day or 2. (dont worry, always got the OEM filter in there when i dont have the uni. WEll today i started thinking and found an inner that'll fit GREAT!

    Donaldson filter number: P822686

Give it a whirl. I hot-glued a piece of filter foam ontop of it for a little more "Squish". Its a great spare setup for when ya need to run an oem filter!

I'm running it for now to see how it works out. So far no issues. It was pure luck tgat I had a few of these filters laying around. They're outters for my skidloader. (Bobcat 453 with a kubota 3cyl.) and if you think them are small, ya oughta see the inner ones. They're puny!! Lol

I may have to look into that. The mule air filter looks very similar to your teryx.
@WagZ where's the best place to find and cross reference part numbers between the kawi's?

They look like they were made to fit together. Very smart idea. It would be interesting to take vacuum or manometer readings with the single and dual filter arrangements to see any effect the second filter has on air flow. Maybe some day in your spare time...
    Thanks for sharing.
